Caroline Upchurch Serves as Featured Panelist for Annual Day of Leadership
Caroline Upchurch, served as a featured panelist at the Mississippi Women Lawyers Association 7th Annual Day of Leadership held on May 8, 2015. This year’s seminar was titled “Passing the Torch: Celebrating the Trailblazers of Today and Inspiring the Trailblazers of Tomorrow” and included several panel discussions, CLE opportunities and an awards ceremony for the Outstanding Woman Lawyer of the Year Award and the MWLA Lifetime Achievement Award. Caroline participated in a panel discussion on the importance of women in the business of law and methods implemented by law firms to further the involvement of women in the legal arena. Caroline adds, “It was great to be a part of an engaging discussion on the benefit and promotion of women in the practice of law. It was also very humbling and inspiring to be in the presence of some incredible women who truly are trailblazers in the legal profession.” The firm is thankful for Caroline’s passion for the Mississippi Women Lawyers Association and her participation and enthusiasm for the Day of Leadership.
