Firm Announces New Pro Bono Committee and Partnerships

Forman Watkins & Krutz LLP is proud to announce the launch of its Pro Bono Initiative.  The Firm believes that pro bono service is an important and essential element of every attorney’s professional responsibility; further, we believe that attorneys possess unique skills and abilities to serve the disadvantaged and promote the public interest.  As part of the Pro Bono Initiative, a pro bono committee was formed to develop strategic partnerships with local organizations to help facilitate the flow of pro bono cases to our attorneys. The committee is led by chairperson, Alison O’Neal McMinn, along with members Vernon McFarland, Erin Latuso, Mimi Arthur, Mitch McGuffey, Courtney Hunt, and Robby Gathings, the firm’s COO/CFO.

FWK’s Pro Bono Partnerships span all five firm offices, in Jackson, New Orleans, Houston, Detroit, and New Jersey, and provide a specific and direct means for our attorneys to give back with their skills and services in our local communities. We are excited to announce FWK’s 2017 Pro Bono Partners: Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project, Catholic Charities’ Migrant Support Center, Mississippi Center for Justice, The Pro Bono Project, and the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center. The firm is also working with the Mission First Legal Aid Office. We look forward to contributing to the excellent work being done by these organizations, and to see the work of FWK’s dedicated team unfold throughout 2017.
