Forman Watkins & Krutz Wins Defense Verdict in First Silica Case Tried in Arkansas
On October 20, 2016, Forman Watkins & Krutz LLP obtained a 10-2 defense verdict for sand supplier Precision Packaging in the Circuit Court of Jefferson County Arkansas. Judge Robert Wyatt presided over the four-day jury trial. Precision Packaging’s trial team was Fred Krutz, Brian Hannula, and Andrew Stubbs. Plaintiff’s counsel were Patrick Malouf, John Givens, and Eugene Hunt. Based on the evidence, the jury concluded that plaintiff did not have silicosis.
Needless to say, Precision Packaging is extremely pleased with the outcome of this case.
