Charles Abbott and Erin Wedge Latuso Selected to New Orleans CityBusiness 2021 Leadership in Law Class

FormanWatkins is proud to announce that Charles Abbott and Erin Wedge Latuso have been selected by New Orleans CityBusiness to its 2021 Leadership in Law class. With 2021 marking his third time honored, Charles joins the Leadership in Law Hall of Fame. Each year New Orleans CityBusiness recognizes 50 area professionals in the field of law for their career and community accomplishments, we congratulate our past and present honorees to make the list!

Charles is a partner in the New Orleans office with an extremely diverse legal practice. He is regularly retained as lead counsel or co-counsel on significant, high-dollar commercial, contractual, tort, admiralty/maritime, products liability, construction, and toxic tort cases pending in both federal and state courts throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.  In addition to his role as trial counsel, Mr. Abbott also serves as national coordinating counsel on behalf of a Fortune 100 client in connection with their silica and benzene exposure litigation.  Charles is the co-chair of the Firm’s Marketing Committee and a member of the Firm’s Technology Committee.  He is honored by rankings in Martindale-Hubbell® AV Preeminent®, The Best Lawyers in America® (2021-2022), and “Top Lawyer” by New Orleans Magazine (2017-2019).  He was also selected to Louisiana Super Lawyers (2011-2012, 2014-2021), including Top 50 in New Orleans (2018-2020) and Top 50 in Louisiana (2018, 2020-2021), as well as New Orleans City Business “Leadership in Law” Class (2014, 2019, 2021), Hall of Fame Honoree.

Erin is a partner in our New Orleans office, concentrating in commercial litigation, with an emphasis on commercial contract, employment, professional liability, and toxic tort law. In addition to her litigation practice, Erin represents and advocates for her clients in contract negotiations. As an active member of the Firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, she leads round table discussions regarding fostering inclusion in the law firm setting.  She also serves on our Pro Bono Committee. Erin has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America®, Louisiana Super Lawyers, and was selected as a "Top Lawyer" by New Orleans Magazine.
