Fred Krutz, Daniel Mulholland, and Caroline Upchurch won plaintiffs’ consolidated appeal to the Mississippi Supreme Court of summary judgments in seventeen silica cases entered by the Jackson County, Mississippi Circuit Court.

Nick Giallourakis, Joshua Metcalf and Daniel Roberts, along with Delaware local counsel, successfully petitioned the Delaware Supreme Court to accept an interlocutory appeal on the issue of whether a company that registers to do business in Delaware but has almost no other contact with the state is subject to general personal jurisdiction there.

On August 3, 2015, The United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, in its unanimous opinion, affirmed summary judgment for Forman Watkins & Krutz LLP clients Precision Packaging and Clemco Industries in Robinson v. Mine Safety Appliances Co. et al., a silica case filed in the Eastern District of Arkansas.
